Welcome to The East Club
 
 
The East Belfast Working Men’s Club is a member’s owned club situated in Chamberlain Street between the Albertbridge Road and Newtownards Road in the heart of East Belfast. 
 
The Club is managed by a committee of 12 full club members along with a Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, & Entertainments Manager.  The Management meet on a monthly basis to discuss matters arising in relation to the club and its members.
 
 
The objects of the Club are to foster comradeship, social and recreational activities and well being amongst its members.
 
 
The club was established in 1922 and was formally known as ‘The Hut’.  Only a small handful of members nowadays remember it as The Hut.
